Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence
The Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) is the premier scientific society dedicated to advancing the scientific understanding of the mechanisms underlying thought and intelligent behavior and their embodiment in machines. The association was founded in 1979 to advance advance research and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI), to increase public understanding and to improve the teaching and training of AI practitioners.
Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
The mission of the ACM Special Interest Group on Artificial Intelligence (ACM SIGAI) is to promote and support the growth and application of artificial intelligence (AI) principles and techniques throughout computing. ACM SIGAI is made up of and serves three primary communities: academic educators and researchers, professional practitioners, and students. We serve as technical experts both to the internal community of the ACM as well as to external entities interested in AI.
GENAiA is a meeting point for companies and experts to share experiences and knowledge on how to use the latest innovations in Generative AI in the most efficient and responsible way. We are a space where ideas are disseminated, exchanged, and debated freely.
IEEE Computational Intelligence Society
The mission of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society is to serve as an incubator for the advancement of computational intelligence and the associated professional growth of all our members, fostering technological and foundational innovation and excellence, exploring new and emerging directions and applications of computational intelligence for the benefit of humanity and the natural world.
National Artificial Intelligence Initiative
NIST promotes innovation and cultivates trust in the design, development, use and governance of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and systems in ways that enhance economic security, competitiveness, and quality of life.
Purpose of this guide
