This guide was created to help students enrolled in the Practical Nursing program at Columbus Technical College. It aims to provide a brief overview of the numerous resources available in the physical library or online through the virtual branch. Practical Nursing PN21

Practical Nurses (LPNs) are a vital part of the healthcare community. They are involved in direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring equipment, changing dressings, preparing food trays, feeding and bathing and managing patients, dressing patients, maintaining patient charts, taking vital signs and pulse rates. Practical Nursing is ideal for you if you are interested in the close, interpersonal aspects of healthcare.

This program prepares you to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing.
